"University Blue" Hits the Air Jordan 1 Mid
Back in 1985, Nike won a gold medal with the Air Jordan 1. Even the Swoosh couldn't imagine how the sneaker would retain all of its different looks decades later. In addition to the colorways and collaborations of the original high-top, other variants of the shoe, such as the Air Jordan 1 Low, Air Jordan 1 KO and Air Jordan 1 Mid, are based on the original DNA.
Sneaker Culture's love of "college blue" isn't dead yet, and it shows no sign of dying anytime soon. This is thanks in large part to Jordan Brand, who often use UNC signatures throughout their vast catalog of classics. Now, the color will be back on the Air Jordan 1 Mid, with the typical white leather upper featuring "Carolina Blue" and grey suede covering the heel. The Swooshes are also available in bright blue, while the mesh tongue is available in white. This color combination continues on the sole, with a white midsole and blue covering the outsole to complete the look.
A release date for the Air Jordan 1 Mid “University Blue” has yet to be announced, but it is expected to drop by the end of the year for $120. For more latest news, please continue to pay attention to Hype Sneaker.
